| UGA Class of 1870 at 60th Reunion |
I came across this clipping this morning. I think it's from an old Alumni Record from the University of Georgia. I was most interested in the man on the right. He is identified as a son of Dr. Crawford W. Long. Dr. Long was born in Danielsville, Georgia and is credited with the first use of ether as an anesthesia during an operation.
